Acupressure points for Digestion

Acupressure – Do it yourself – Digestion

Digestive issues are a common problem for many people. Licensed acupuncturists Zen Tuan and Vanessa M. Ho of Healing with Zen demonstrate their favorite acupressure points for digestion. Watch the video below to learn more.

Chinese medicine balances out several organs in the process of treating any
digestive concern and the Stomach is one very important organ in
successfully treating digestive concerns. Inflammation of the digestive tract
causes digestive issues to arise and acupuncture treats this by increasing
circulation and decreasing inflammation.
There are 3 effective acupressure points that can be pressed at home as
maintenance in between acupuncture treatments.

LI4 – This point is located in the webbing between the index finger and
the thumb. This point improves intestinal function and regulates bowels
relieving issues such as diarrhea, constipation and abdominal pain.

While acupressure is a great practice to work into your daily routine, it is not
as effective as a complete acupuncture treatment! It is advisable to consult a
licensed acupuncturist
