Acupuncture NADA Protocol for Addiction
NADA stands for the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. The NADA Protocol is the name for the specific Acupuncture treatment of addictions using Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture points. It was first discovered in 1972 by Hong Kong neurosurgeon, Dr. H.L. Wen. Dr. Wen used Acupuncture for analgesic purposes, but he noted that it decreased opium withdrawal and cravings.
