Ways You Can Help Reduce Your Acne
In fact, in terms of nutrition, it is incredibly important to consume fresh food. That includes fresh produce and fresh fruits. Include fresh vegetables in your diet such as those that are rich in phytonutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
Some examples include beets, cucumber, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, kale, mung beans, onions, lettuce, and spinach.
Adding berries in your snacks or in your meal plans help increase the dose of antioxidants in your nutrition. Some great options are blackberries, blueberries, and goji berries (or as we call them in Chinese, Gou Qi Zi).
It is important to include whole foods in your nutrition such as brown rice, whole grains, and oatmeal. They serve as great sources of fiber, which will help your body’s process of ridding itself of toxins.
Lastly and most importantly, remember to drink enough water! Water is essential in cleaning the lymphatic system. It aids the body in flushing out toxins through the skin and bowels. It also helps digestion (which moves toxins along out of the body and encourages our body to absorb the nutrition from our diet) and it also moistens the skin.
