Our Healing Modalities:

Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

Acupuncture is an ancient, effective, and noninvasive system of medical treatment that has been used over 3,000 years to help billions of people get well and stay healthy, without drugs or costly surgery. It involves the use of fine, sterile needles to stimulate various pressure points throughout the body. These needles promote natural healing by boosting the body’s immune system and enhancing the body’s ability to heal itself.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), good health depends on our body’s vital energy, called “Qi” (pronounced CHEE). When we have abundant and free flowing Qi, we have energy and are less likely to have illnesses. Consequently when our Qi becomes depleted, we are more likely to feel sick. When our Qi becomes blocked, pain and disease may develop.

Acupuncture needles are used to access and rebalance the body’s energy. They can remove blockages in the body, reduce pain, increase energy, and assist our body in healing disease. Thus, allowing our energy and circulation to move more freely. It is a safe, painless and effective way to treat a wide variety of physical and emotional problems.

Herbal therapy involves the use of individual herbs, or more often, herbal formulas as a treatment for symptoms or as preventative medicine. Herbal therapy has been used for thousands of years in traditional Chinese medicine to help patients with a wide variety of issues.
In most cases, patients are given a customized herbal formula to take, which consists of a mixture of a number of herbs designed by the practitioner to complement each other and suit the unique health needs of each patient.

Cupping

How does cupping work?

Plastic or glass cups are placed strategically on certain parts of the body to increase circulation, decrease inflammation and relax the muscles. Cupping is supposed to draw fluid into the area where the cups are being placed. After the treatment, there may be a slight discoloration, which is due to broken blood vessels just beneath the skin, very similar to a bruise. LEARN MORE HERE!

Acupressure through Ear Seeds

Ear seeds are used as a form of acupressure to treat a variety of health ailments, including stress & fatigue, chronic or acute pain, digestive issues, weight loss and anxiety. Apply the seeds on specific pressure points to treat your ailments.
