Shan Zha (Hawthorn Berry)
These can be taken as an herbal tea. Shan Zha or Hawthorn Berry is considered one of the strongest herbs to move food stagnation. It is especially powerful at resolving distention and gassiness from overeating meat or fatty foods.
Mai Ya (Barley)
Mai Ya is amazing at digesting starches or carbohydrates. This is often served as the tea of choice for several Asian restaurants as it helps aid the digestive system.
Chen Pi (Dried Orange Peel)
Chen Pi can treat symptoms involving the entire digestive system. It is especially good at treating distention, nausea, or vomiting. This herb is considered a drying herb so it is also effective at treating loose stools or diarrhea.
